DCU 151 named Spain's best decontamination product of 2014
We are delighted to announce that SMH’s DCU 151 was named the best decontamination product of 2014 by the Spanish Association for the Decontamination of Hazardous Waste, ADRP (Asociación de Descontaminación de Residuos Peligrosos). The ADRP focuses on the continuing professionalization of the decontamination industry, so we are really pleased that they have chosen an SMH product as leading the field - particularly given that our Spanish business hasn't yet been open a full year!
The DCU 151 is a trailer-based decontamination shower unit, with three areas – ‘dirty’, shower and ‘clean’ – ensuring workers removing asbestos are able to properly decontaminate and avoid exposure to the deadly fibres. The contaminated air is filtered through HEPA 14 filters and waste water is passed through a high efficiency microfiber filter so that they can be vented safely into the environment without risk of further contamination.
